The GN-CAR-FIB-S is GunNook’s new lightweight carbon fiber bump helmet. The small shell is only 11.3 ounces and with the Superior package it’s only 1.6 pounds. As a result our carbon fiber BUMP shell is the lightest on the market. As such this completely made in America shell is also the lightest bump helmet in the GunNook product line.
The GN-CAR-FIB-S is available in 5 colors. These include: Black, Coyote Brown, Desert Tan, Foliage Green and Olive Drab. This High cut, non-ballistic, bump shell features a hybrid design of unidirectional and woven composite carbon fibers. Consequently, that makes its design perfect for blunt trauma protection. It’s light weight and durable shell makes the GN-CAR-FIB without a doubt the best choice for less intense environments. It’s also perfect for natural disasters and or training operations, for example.

GunNook's Superior Carbon Fiber Helmet Features
You get your choice of our VAS or Skeleton NVG 3 point mounts. They are extremely durable and made from military grade aircraft aluminum alloy (5052). Both VAS & Skeleton NVG Shrouds are compatible and work with NOROTOS NVG “Rhino” mounting arms.
Includes our extremely comfortable (ATP’s) Advanced Tactical Pads. The ATP’s are made out of closed-cell comfort foam that is not affected by temperature, altitude, or moisture. They consist of a shockproof liner kit that contain 3 main shockproof damper pads and a comfort kit that consists of 7 individual comfort pads. The liner kit provides protection of the frontal, parietal and occipital parts of the head. The comfort pads are 7 additional pads that are fastened on the inner surface of the liner kit. These pads provide individual adjustment of the helmet to the size of the user's head and overall comfortability while using the Carbon Fiber BUMP helmet.
The GN-CAR-FIB-S also features our GunNook Dial Retention III (DRS3) 4 Point suspension system. It has four points of contact in the chinstrap assembly with quick slides clips and a removable nape pad. The GN-DRS3 is the next evolution of our dial-retention system. It provides the easiest to adjust dial, most comfortable wire, helmet retention system ever offered. This 4 point system provides maximum stability while maintaining ultimate comfort, even after long periods of use.
The GN-CAR-FIB-S includes a four pack of rail accessories. This pack includes two picatinny rail adapters, a ¾” ring adapter for flashlights or bullet cameras, and the Surefire X300 flashlight adapter.
In addition, it's also outfitted with Type I or Type II ARC helmet rails. Made of a Polymer Fiberglass mixture providing support with durability.
Rounding it all out is a set of rail bungees and five-piece helmet Velcro for stabilizing and attaching more gear.
